Mindful sourcing of our produce:
We happily use “wonky” fruits and vegetables, those that the supermarkets may turn their nose up, as long as they are organic, all shapes and sizes are welcome here at Alkalize Me!
Pressing with purpose:
Our super tools are our Bio commercial hydraulic cold-pressed and Angel juicers. They both employ immense pressure to extract maximum flavour, nutrients, and enzymes while minimising waste.
Nothing goes to waste:
We try to keep waste to an absolute minimum at Alkalize Me and reuse it wherever we can. Our juice pulp finds a new purpose as it is sent to Farmacy London, where it enriches their biodynamic farm in Kent, creating a beautiful cycle of giving and returning to the land. We also upcycle the cardboard packaging that our produce comes in to use to protect our bottles that go out with our courier cleanse orders; this not only saves us money which, in turn, helps to keep our prices as low as we can for you but also prevents unnecessary extra landfill waste.
Embracing the Power of Glass:
We consciously chose to package our juices in glass bottles right at the start of our journey rather than plastic, to reduce the demand for single-use plastics and promote a circular economy. Unlike plastic, glass is 100% recyclable and can be reused indefinitely without compromising its quality. Glass provides an impermeable barrier, protecting the integrity and freshness of the juices inside. It does not leach harmful chemicals into the product, ensuring that our customers receive a pure and untainted cold-pressed juice experience.
REuse REcycle REpurpose:
We collect your glass bottles within London and surrounding areas, clean them and then reuse them again and again. We ask that our customers give our bottles a quick rinse to minimise the water required for cleaning. Embracing the principle of "reduce, reuse, and recycle," we encourage our customers to reuse our glass bottles creatively, giving them a second life as versatile containers or decorative items and delight in seeing how creatively our bottles have been repurposed. Your ingenuity inspires us!

Compostable v Biodegradable v Recyclable:
We are constantly researching which packaging options have the least amount of impact on our planet whilst consciously trying to keep our nutritious juices affordable for all. We feel that the jury is still out on which is the best option as the best choice for packaging depends on factors such as waste management infrastructure, accessibility to composting or recycling facilities, product characteristics, and overall environmental goals. In some cases, a combination of these options might be the most suitable approach.
